Refund policy

Thank you for contacting us about your order. We apologize if you are not satisfied with your item. Our return policy allows you to request a return within 30 days of receiving your item, but only if it is a product quality issue. If you wish to request a return, please contact us at contact@saltymoondog.com within 14 days of receiving the item and provide a photo of the faulty product. If your return request is approved, we will send you a replacement item. Please note that customized and made-to-order products cannot be returned unless they are defective.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as you received it (unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging), and you must have the receipt or proof of purchase. If your return request is approved, we will refund your payment (excluding shipping costs) using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you agree to another method. We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we receive the returned item or you provide sufficient evidence that you have sent the item back.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us unless we have agreed in advance to cover the cost. Please send the returned item to the address provided in our authorization email within 14 days of receiving the email. Items sent back to us without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
