Refund Policy

We are sorry you are not happy with your item from us. We do want to make things right with you. We have a 30-day return policy, if it is a product quality issue. Which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Faulty items can be returned for a replacement, providing we are notified of the issue within 14 days of delivery to you, and you provide a photo of the faulty item. 

Since our products are made to order, we do not accept returns unless the item is defective, and at that point we will ship out a replacement.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@saltymoondog.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 6-425 Hespeler Rd., Suite 357, Cambridge, ON N1R 8J6

If you request a refund, and it is approved by us, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, excluding the costs of shipping. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

We reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied sufficient evidence of having sent back the goods.

You shall send back the goods to the address we supply in your authorization email, without undue delay and at a maximum of 14 days of receipt of our authorization email. 

You are responsible for any cost incurred for the return of goods to us, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

Whatever the issue is, please contact us (contact@saltymoondog.com) and we will discuss what we can do to make you happy with your item. 

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
